Tomberlies will transition to Oasis Raw Vegan Ice Cream

Tomberlies Ice Cream is transitioning to Oasis Raw Vegan Ice Cream. It’s made from raw, vegan ingredients. Those raw vegan ingredients include ice cream that is free from dairy, gluten and soy and has no thickeners or fillers of any kind. And of course, all our ingredients and fruits are fresh and raw, not processed! That’s why Organic Oasis bought it and will continue producing it only with a different name: Organic Oasis Raw Vegan Ice Cream.

The fact that it will still be called Tomberlies and Organic Oasis simultaneously for the near future is part of the transition process that will take place over the next few months. Nothing will change. NOT the ingredients. NOT the process. NOT the same great taste, which has been called “Fantastic!” and “Great tasting.” Organic Oasis will continue to take great pride in producing this fine product which we have come to love.

The Organic Oasis Raw Vegan Ice Cream brand will still be available throughout Northern and Southern California at all the same places you  have come to expect it like the Earth Bars’ in the L.A. area and the North Coast Co-ops in Northern California to Whole Foods and Jimbos in San Diego County. What does “raw foods” mean, anyway?

What if I told you that raw foods are not only good for you, but can be great tasting as well? What about delicious raw foods like strawberries, blueberries, bananas and other fruits? Oasis Raw Vegan Ice Cream to replace Tomberlies

Organic Oasis, Inc., the LA-based purveyor of gourmet mobile foods is now producing Oasis Raw Vegan Ice Cream brand ice cream, formerly known as Tomberlies Ice Cream. Continuing the tradition of raw, delicious foods, Organic Oasis will still be committed to producing ice cream that is all natural, raw and great tasting.

Organic Oasis will be making the Oasis Raw Vegan ice cream with the same ingredients that have always gone into this fantastic desert when it was produced by Tomberlies. We will be producing it with the same equipment, the same recipes and the same raw vegan organic ingredients (such as young thai coconut, raw cashews, raw agave syrup, whole vanilla bean, raw cocoa powder, raw cocoa butter and fresh seasonal fruit) that have always gone into the Tomberlies brand.

For the near future, the ice cream will be produced and sold under both brand names until the switch over can be completed and then it will be sold under the Organic Oasis label exclusively. But, it will always be the same raw vegan ice cream that you’ve come to enjoy. It will now just be called Oasis Raw Vegan Ice Cream instead.

If you walk down to your local smoothie provider, chances are that you are going to get three main ingredients in your smoothie: ice, something with milk (yogurt, for example) and fruit blend flavoring. Let’s take a look at a standard pineapple smoothie. At your local smoothie place, you are probably going to get a 1. Some kind of pineapple juice blend, pineapple sherbet and nonfat yogurt (both of which contain milk), ice and bananas (fresh?). Not quite fresh, is it?

At Organic Oasis, our ingredients are all natural: FRESH coconut water, FRESH orange juice, FRESH pineapple juice, FRESH bananas and raw vanilla. Dragon fruit, these climbing plants find something to climb on, which can involve putting aerial roots down from the branches in addition to the basal roots.  Once this plant reaches a mature 10 pounds in weight it may, or may not, flower.

Its flowers bloom overnight and usually wilt by the morning. Shilajit is used in Ayurveda the traditional Indian system of medicine.  It has been reported to contain at least 85 minerals in ionic form, as well as triterpenes, humic acid and fulvic acid. A similar substance from the Caucasus Mountains and Altai mountains is called Mumijo (Russian).

The fresh food I serve is incredible. It cannot be mass-produced; it is so rare and so special, just like you.  Honor it.  Honor your temple and come find me!

Why? Let’s be proud to be who we are, love ourselves for that true, sometimes gritty, taste that has a greater reward than any donut can provide.  Remember riding in the back of a pick-up truck with your friends and the dog?  Or jumping off the dock into the lake?  What is that feeling?  Can you get it again?  Yes!  I can’t define the feeling but I know that whatever it is…it’s RAW, raw fun!  That’s what living raw and eating raw food does.  It encourages going for the pure nectar of the flower, the pure nectar of life.

In accepting food in it’s raw form, we accept ourselves in raw form.  Sure, we are adults, but we can still take the happy perspective of a child, where appearances don’t matter as much as what’s inside.

Sometimes people ask me why I’m always smiling, yet I can never think of a definitive answer. I just go for a walk everyday, spend time with people I enjoy, meditate, and work on my projects. To keep myself fueled up, I like to eat lots of vegetables. For some time now, the juice diet and making green smoothies has been one of the keys to a healthy lifestyle. And green (one of my favorite colors!) has always been a key marker of optimal health. The juice diet, specifically green juices and green smoothies are gaining popularity, but it’s catching on slowly.
